Which is the more powerful awards show? Turns out it's the MTV VMAs. CBS had moved the Emmys from Sept. 20 to Sept. 13 to avoid a conflict with the NFL. Now the Emmys will move back to its original date, Sept. 20, to avoid the MTV's Music Awards, which was firmly stuck on Sept. 13.
