"Rescue Me" will end in 2011, to mark 9/11's 10th anniversary
Co-creator Peter Tolan confirms that the FX series will bow out in two years time. "Within the next couple of weeks, we're going to begin shooting the last 19 episodes, which will be the final two seasons of the show," he says, adding: "I think they're stretching the airing of it out until the 10th anniversary. So if you put 10 episodes on next year and nine the following year, you'll land there."
