Matt LeBlanc making a TV comeback playing dumb sitcom star "Matt LeBlanc"
Showtime is partnering with the BBC on "Episodes," which will see what happens when a hit British TV comedy is Americanized with LeBlanc starring in the remake. The show is from "Friends" exec producer David Crane and "Mad About You's" Jeffrey Klarik. "We jumped at the chance to get involved with this cock-eyed look at network television told through the eyes of unsuspecting British producers who don't know what hit them when they enter the lion's den of Hollywood," says Showtime's entertainment president. "And Matt LeBlanc — wryly sending up his own image — is icing on the cake."
