Letterman's assistant/ex-mistress Stephanie Birkitt is on paid leave, a Worldwide Pants spokesperson says. TMZ, however, claims that Stephanie is banned from the set. Meanwhile, the NY Times reports that CBS is not conducting an internal investigation and that inside CBS News, there is still disbelief that Robert Halderman was arrested. In fact, two of his co-workers posted the bond for his bail.
