Why "Glee" has proved to be one of TV's best shows
After nine episodes "Glee" continues to surprise, says David Hinckley. "'Glee' doesn't mind a few loose cannons on the deck," he says. "It relishes sudden turns and curve balls. After nine episodes, we can't be sure of the handles we think we have on any character. We think they're mostly decent people because this isn't 'Gossip Girl' or 'Melrose Place.'"
