"Dexter" boss quits
Executive producer/showrunner Clyde Phillips, who has been at the helm of "Dexter" since the episode after the pilot, has decided to leave his job to spend more time with his family in Connecticut. His decision comes after "Dexter's" high-rated Season 4 finale, which was the most watched episode in Showtime history. "I lived with the people on the show for four years that were the high point of my career," Phillips says of his "hugely difficult decision." "But I was missing out on my family."
