The villains include Coach, Boston Rob Mariano, Russell Hantz, Courney Yates, Randy Bailey, Tyson Apostol, Sandra Diaz-Twine, Jerri Manthey, Parvati Shallow and Danielle DiLorenzo. The heroes include Rupert Boneham, Colby Donaldson, Cirie Fields, Amanda KimmelJessica "Sugar" Kiper, Stephenie LaGrossa, James "JT" Thomas, James Clement, Candice Woodcock and Tom Westman.

"Survivor" wanted to avoid another all-stars — 50 were considered

"We all agreed we couldn't do 'All-Stars 2,'" says Mark Burnett. "But 'Heroes vs. Villains' is a one-sentence sell because there are people who played the game in very different ways." "Survivor's" casting director, meanwhile, says "I had a really hard time": "One question was, how many times can you see someone play? Some of them have already played twice so we had to think about the ones that played it differently the second time, and could they tweak it again for a third time?"


People's Choice Awards go to "Glee," "Big Bang," "Vamp Diaries"

"American Idol," Katherine Heigl, Alyson Hannigan, "True Blood," Steve Carell and Hugh Laurie also picked up the very prestigious award.
