A "Late Shift" book sequel is in the works with Conan, Leno, Letterman
Bill Carter of The New York Times, who wrote the original book and co-wrote the script for the HBO movie, told Keith Olbermann last night that he couldn't reveal any juicy details because "If I did tell you, what would I put in my next book." Responded Olbermann: "There‘s a sequel going?" Said Carter, "It‘s in the works, Keith, yeah."

UCLA researcher Fred Zimmerman says of his study: "There’s been a fair amount of work showing TV viewing is associated with obesity. What’s new about this research is that it suggests there’s no evidence of a couch potato effect. It’s highly suggestive that it’s the effect of watching TV commercials."
