Olympics hands "Idol" its first defeat in its timeslot since May 2004
"American Idol's" six-year unbeaten streak ended last night due to what NBC calls "the greatest single day in Winter Olympics history."


Report: "Idol" booted Chris Golightly over boy band contract

Golightly was replaced at the last minute by Tim Urban after it was revealed he was still under contract, though Golightly had assumed his contract had expired. "This is not fair; I don't know what to do," Golightly said this morning when reached by USA Today.
