Letterman extortionist pleads guilty, says sorry to Dave and Stephanie
Robert Halderman pleaded guilty this afternoon to one count of attempted grand larceny in the second degree. He was sentenced to six months in jail, five years probation and 1,000 hours of community service. After his hearing, Halderman said in a prepared statement: "I just wanted to say again I apologize to Mr. Letterman, his family, to Stephanie Birkitt, her family, and certainly to my friends and family. "Spartacus" star has cancer, delaying filming on Season 2
Andy Whitfield will begin treatment immediately after being diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. "Spartacus" was set to begin shooting Season 2 later this month.
Charlie Sheen will be back on "Two and a Half Men" next Friday
The actor is expected to be out of rehab and back on the set March 19.
