Louis CK actually soothes with his "Louie" pessimism
The FX series busts so many sitcom taboos that it's quite refreshing, says Heather Havrilesky. "Whether or not 'Louie' gains the popularity of a far less original show like 'Entourage,' its jumbled narrative structure and absurdist flights of fancy capture something essential about the alienation of modern life," she says.
