Chasing celebs delaying "Idol" judge search; J.Lo wanted more than $20M
A Simon Cowell-like judge could've been named by now, but Fox wants a big celebrity name to fill Simon's shoes, which means lots of money and complex negotiations. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Lopez had big demands, including a salary "north of $20 million — plus her own own hair, makeup, styling team and her own 'dressing room compound.'" But Fox doesn't want to pay Simon Cowell money to a newcomer, though it hasn't given up on J.Lo becoming a judge. PLUS: Steven Tyler insists he can judge. "I'm very judgmental of the guys in the band," he says.


Kelsey Grammer will be a dad again, at 55, with his 29-year-old girlfriend

Britney Spears will appear on "Glee" and get "kid gloves" treatment
"Britney, I think 100% is going to be on the episode, which is exciting," Ryan Murphy told Ryan Seacrest this morning. Britney, he says, might play John Stamos' dental assistant as the kids drift into an anesthetic Britney state. "The Britney episode, I'm here to say, is so reverential about her," said Murphy, "and so kind and it's about her music and it's not about her personal life. And I think, Britney Spears is pop-culture, and I think she's been through a lot. And I want to do something that just sort of says, you know what, 'thank you for what you have done.'"
