Plus, he had a warning for "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy, the night's big winner: "I remember when the 'Lost' actors still cared about us," he said. "It's coming, Murphy, it's coming." Producers this morning discussed their clashes witht eh city of Detroit, and the real-life killing of a little girl, as filmed by a reality show, that prompted the drama to change its mockumentary format. PLUS: "NYPD Blue's" James McDaniel glad to be in his old "Blue" timeslot.


New ABC boss: "I'm super-unprepared, been in the job 36 hours"

Paul Lee made his debut as ABC entertainment president this morning, and the former ABC Family president admitted he had a lot of catching up to do. Lee also spoke about how he picks programs: "I've just spent 6 years not just channeling my inner American as a Brit but also my inner female teen. … It goes back to questions of gut versus research." PLUS: ABC rolled out a pink elephant for today's press tour session.

Conan invited to be an Emmy presenter on NBC
The TV Academy has asked Conan to present an award at this year's Emmys, which will be shown on the Peacock. The invitation comes as NBC's Jeff Gaspin said he'd have "no problem" with Conan on the Emmycast. But according to his producer, Conan has yet to decide if he'll even attend the ceremony, much less take the presenting offer.
