CBS, it turns out, is partly responsible for illegal TV show downloading, thanks to its subsidiary CNET, which distributes file-sharing software.

Tina Fey & Co. end the season tonight having recovered from Season 4 with a tighter focus, smarter use of guest stars and less schadenfreude for Liz, as Alan Sepinwall notes: "The show leaned more heavily on the Jack/Liz friendship than ever, made Tracy more prominent with his quest to win an Oscar, and was much more sparing in its use of Jenna (who has her uses but is very one-note), Kenneth (whose comedic value was largely exhausted a couple of seasons ago) and the 'TGS' writers…"
Jennifer Lopez is down to business on "Idol," notes Jon Caramanica. "In just a couple of months she has become the most cogent, sensible and helpful judge 'Idol' has ever had," he says. Burg also recalls that Sheen initially turned down the role of Charlie Harper after meeting with Chuck Lorre.
Unlike "Idol" the coaches/judges on "The Voice" are invested in the singers, says Matt Zoller Seitz, who adds: "Moreso than 'Idol,' 'The Voice" gives you a nearly tactile sense of what nerve it takes to get up onstage before an audience and try to win it over — and the mix of cold strategizing and gambler's nerve that goes into picking material."
