"Torchwood: Miracle Day" hurt by its new Yankee sensibility

The American-set "Torchwood" is a letdown, says Mike Hale, probably due to its new association with Starz. "Miracle Day," he says, has an extreme pace. Charlie Sheen's new sitcom is a remake of "Anger Management"
Sheen will assume the Jack Nicholson role in a remake of the 2003 film that also starred Adam Sandler (watch the trailer). Sheen will play a social worker with anger management issues who happens to counsel criminal defendants with anger management problems. The project will reunite Sheen and "Anger Management" producer Joe Roth, whose worked with Sheen on five films, including "Major League" and "Young Guns."
